The water your drink affect the cup of oolong tea?

Today, we do experiments about water quality in Taiwan on chlorine, Hydrogen Ion (pH) and mineral in some water samples: spring water, high mountain water and filtered water. Then, we place the same tea leaves in four different evaluation cups and pour with water. After tasting, we found some difference among these tea. However, the tea with spring water can arise the most flavour of tea, sweater, stronger aftertaste and flower fragrance due to mineral, low pH and no chlorine for sure.

How about the quality of Scottish water? After travelling many cites, I have to say the water in Scotland is really tasty. Even from tap water. This is ten key parameters of Scottish water from website: http://dwqr.scot/…/national-water-qual…/ten-key-parameters/…, low pH, some mineral...Hmm, it looks quite proper for oolong tea. How about make an experiment and see which kind of water make good tea?

The photos shows the result from these meters. I have to say we are so lucky to have good quality wa

ter in Edinburgh. That also allow us to make a good cup of tea. Let's cherish and enjoy Scottish water!
